It looks some images are missing here. Did you have any difficulty uploading them? Maybe you should consider reducing the file size if that was the limitation.

Interesting topic.

I wholly agree with your reservations on the need to have an original identity. Even in orthography; we were literate (though not everyone) before the coming of the colonizers. We have our own scripts which hitherto we failed to adapt into everyday uses mainly as a result of the unnatural and unholy union we find ourselves in.

I have been following the work of a brilliant Biafran man who devoted years to make a working orthography based on nsibidi - our indigenous scripts.

Here is a snapshot of the work of "Gin":

Yes, we should use that as a national script since everybody used to use it, as in Efik, Ibibio, Igbo.
