The Imo state government on Saturday 26th August, 2017 begun the demolition of the ancestral Eke ukwu market in Owerri. This commenced without proper relocation plan by the governor.

Note that there are a number of incomplete projects in IMO state. One wonders why Okorocha would not focus on completing them but rather choose to destroy lives and properties.

As the demolition is currently going 7 Biafrans has been killed as they tried to resist the destruction of age long properties and goods from which comes their livelihood. The Hausa-Fulani military men took advantage of the situation to shoot 3 dead on the spot near Douglas road.... More updates coming....

UPDATE: See the video below. We also learnt that a 12 years old boy was killed when he tried to stand the way of the destroyers.

9 persons are now confirmed dead. Their names were mentioned on Radio Biafra and I will update this thread as soon as I get them...
